Located in the most prominent central corner in Frankfurt?s business and banking district, the Omniturm occupies the last spot to complete the only intersection in Europe flanked on all four sides by high-rises. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group / BIG the tower follows the concept of a classical modern sculpture, combining office space and residential units, as well as a semi-public co-working space on the first floor. The first two floors are shifted towards each other to create terraces for the visitors. The floors housing the residential units follow the same design principle, creating terraces on one side and shading the opposite.
